Each year KDT holds a beautiful “Ballerina Princess Tea” to announce new members of the Ballet Jete’ Company. All younger, aspiring ballerinas are invited to attend and wear their favorite princess outfit. After receiving special autographs, guests are treated to lunch and tea at beautifully decorated tables created by each company member. The afternoon concludes with a performance by Ballet Jeté and Petite Jeté.

Each December Kennedy Dance Theatre gets into the holiday spirit with their production of The Nutcracker, choreographed by Ballet Mistress Simona Di Nardo. Ballet Jete’, KDT’s Pre-Professional Company is featured in the show and a surprise visit from Santa Claus will top off the night! All in attendance will have the opportunity to shop at Clara’s Closet Christmas Market to help them find their favorite gifts!

At the end of each dance season we give all of our dancers an opportunity to perform on stage in front of a large audience at our annual Dance Recital. This year’s theme is “Radio Requests”. Recital is not mandatory, however we highly encourage participation to develop confidence and stage presence as a culmination of what they have been working on for the year.
